Artist's Statement

When painting, I feel all is right with the world. With passion, I love to capture the feeling and soul of each location, and connect with the land. The camaraderie, competition and creativity of plein air painting, inspires me to continually expand as an artist. There is nothing better than being outdoors AND painting! Well, maybe being outdoors and painting with a nice beverage. Art has the ability to uplift and inspire and its power is expanded when someone takes it home and shares it with others.
