Mary Ann Davis enjoys the challenge of painting on location and has a reputation as one of Indiana’s premier Plein Air (outdoor) painters. Her paintings celebrate nature, emphasizing color and atmosphere. Her works have been included in Plein Air Magazine, American Art Review, Pastel Journal and Southwest Art magazines and two Painting Indiana books. Painting Indiana II, The Changing Face of Agriculture and Painting Indiana III, Heritage of Place.
She exhibits widely, winning top awards. Mary Ann’s willingness to share her knowledge has earned her a reputation as an outstanding artist and instructor. She is a signature member of the American Impressionist Society, Plein Air Artists Colorado and the Chicago Pastel Painters.
