Gave my hand a try at the rough burlap surface. It created textural interest that meshed well with the brick of this iconic TC subject. Well my art
is know for thick “impasto” texture, which is used in this, interestingly… I found myself using thin paint in areas and letting the burlap do the work of creating textures.
