              PGT 2025 Painting
This was painted at the utility lot connected to Bonobo Winery, where brand new oaken casks were stacked high on palettes alongside huge stainless steel vats and equipment from the winery’s operation. The title is a reference to the novelty of seeing brand new casks being used in wine production and not just weathered antiques used for decoration, and is also a play on the etymology of the word vintage, which was originally the name given to the annual harvest from a vineyard and now is used to reference an item that is stylishly old. This painting was made in a single 8-hour session.
