In August 2022, Crooked Tree Arts Center will present the fifth annual Paint Grand Traverse, a week-long plein air painting festival and competition, featuring artists from across the country.

On August 5 (following our PGT Coffee @ Ten talk), drop in at your convenience to learn about the variety of volunteer opportunities available and sign up for shifts (online signup is also available!).

Whether you can give us a few hours or the whole week, we have a job for everyone!

Paint Grand Traverse Key Dates*:

    August 14: Artist check-in and canvas stamping
    August 15: Artists on location: Downtown Traverse City
    August 16: Artists on location: Leelanau Peninsula
    August 17: Artists on location: Old Mission Peninsula
    August 18: Artists on location: East Bay and Elk Rapids
    August 19: Collectors Gala event
    August 20: Community Block Party, including the Pint-Sized Paint Out for Kids and Quick Paint Competition

*We also have volunteer jobs before the festival dates, including distributing flyers and assembling artist swag bags and packets.
