The day was overcast and a bit drab, so when I saw this light inside this building, I decided to build the painting around it. It was Father's Day, and there where many families strolling through so I thought adding some of them would add some interest to the scene. I dressed them in bright clothing to offer some color intensity in the sea of grays.
