I got to Moomers at first light, and was greeted by friendly people and cows! When I paint cows I'm normally worried that they'll leave when I haven't gotten far enough, or come over looking for food. But something else happened this time. One cow decided to come over and stand right in front of me for quite some time! She was lovely and made me laugh. I could still see the trees in the distance while she was close up, so they were largely painted with a cow blocking the whole foreground.
