David R. Becker from Chicago, IL is a professional and experienced artist, illustrator, and instructor with a strong background in the fine and commercial art industries. During Covid David started his plein-air painting career and participated in numerous plein-air events while winning awards at every plein-air event he has entered. David has established galleries and reps in Dallas and Chicago. He is skilled in fine art painting, graphics, storyboard illustration, and concept development. With a fine arts and studio arts degree from the American Academy of Art,  David's career has included roles as gallery and school owner, illustrator, instructor, and artist in the greater fine art and design industry. He has taught as an instructor for over 40 years, along with publishing 2 art books with North Light Publishing and has written numerous articles for 3 different fine art publications. David works in many different mediums, watercolor, acrylics, pencil and oils.
