Giselle Harrington is a watercolor artist and illustrator who travels up and down the east coast painting from life to capture the flavor - through architecture, landscapes and people - of the regions she visits. Giselle shows her work regularly in galleries and cultural centers. She also works in illustration, primarily for book covers. She teaches adult watercolor painting and drawing. Giselle studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she obtained her MFA; and studied watercolor painting and drawing at the Art Students League of New York.
Recently, looking for a studio home base to return to from painting trips, to keep framing and printing equipment and to finish large projects, she left small apartment-living and bought a house in Western Massachusetts, which she is currently renovating.
