I painted this nocturne across two evening sessions off of State St looking towards the alley behind Dillinger’s Pub. My wife Megan accompanied me both nights which ran until after 1am the first night. We met a lot of different people who passed by while I was painting. Of the group was a couple visiting TC for the first time this week. They actually stayed in the room that is illuminated in my painting. We enjoyed their company, excitement for the painting, and the bikes they rolled in on the second night.
